The line, as an API

Every perception event, proposal, approval and executed action is addressable. Build your own dashboards, route events into your historian, or wire Anodela into existing plant automation.

Four ways to integrate

REST API

Resources for lines, rolls, cells, events, proposals, envelopes, genealogy and audit records.

Event stream

Server-sent events and Kafka-compatible streaming of fused perception at line speed.

OT connectors

OPC UA, MQTT and vendor SDK adapters for coating, welding, formation and robot controllers.

Webhooks

Signed callbacks for proposals, approvals, executions, quarantines and envelope changes.

Subscribe to fused perception in six lines

The SDK handles authentication, back-pressure and reconnection. Events arrive already fused across vision, CT, gauges and MES context.

quickstart.py
import anodela

client = anodela.Client(api_key=os.environ["ANODELA_API_KEY"], region="eu")
line = client.line("plant-2/electrode-3")

for ev in line.events(kinds=["coat_weight", "metal_particle"]):
    print(ev.timestamp, ev.kind, ev.zone, ev.value, ev.risk, ev.citations)

Propose a bounded setpoint change

Proposals carry an envelope reference and an approver. In bounded-control mode a matching envelope executes automatically; otherwise the proposal queues for a named engineer.

propose.go
package main

import "github.com/anodela/go-sdk/anodela"

func main() {
    c := anodela.New(anodela.FromEnv())
    _, err := c.Propose(ctx, anodela.Proposal{
        Line:     "plant-2/electrode-3",
        Setpoint: "die_gap_um",
        Delta:    -6,
        Envelope: "coat-calender/qualified-v14",  // twin-validated
        Reason: "edge coat weight +1.4 mg/cm2, zone 3",
    })
}

Work in the language your team already uses

Python SDK

Streaming, proposals, genealogy queries and evaluation helpers for data teams.

Go SDK

Low-allocation client for controls and edge services.

CLI

Deploy edge bundles, inspect envelopes, tail events and export audit packs.

OpenAPI spec

Generate a client in any language from the published schema.

Historian sinks

First-class sinks for AVEVA PI, Ignition, Kafka, S3 and Snowflake.

Sandbox line

A simulated line, seeded with realistic defects, for building against without production risk.

Ship a model to the floor safely

  1. Build

    Package models and pipelines into a signed, reproducible edge bundle.

  2. Evaluate

    CI gates the bundle against golden datasets and twin scenarios.

  3. Canary

    Roll to one line for 72 hours with automatic promotion or rollback.

  4. Fleet

    Promote across the fleet with per-site envelope rules preserved.

Core API resources

Full schemas, pagination, idempotency and rate limits are documented in the API reference.

From controls and data teams

“Formation was 24% of our cell cost. Anodela re-sequenced channels and trimmed the protocol per cell, and we took 17% of the formation hours out without touching a single capacity spec.”
Elena RossiVP Manufacturing, Kestrel Energy
“Metal-particle escapes were our nightmare. The contamination model flags a signature our inspection vendor simply does not see, and it quarantines the affected cells automatically.”
James WhitcombeReliability Engineering Lead, Helion Motors
“We commissioned line four with the twin first. It predicted the calendering window that would hold porosity, and the real line matched it within tolerance on week two.”
Aiko TanakaGigafactory Program Director, Aurora

Built for the assurance bar of battery manufacturing

Cell manufacturing is safety-critical and IP-dense. Anodela is designed so quality, IT/OT and EHS approvers can say yes.

SOC 2 & ISO 27001

SOC 2 Type II program with encryption in transit and at rest, SSO/SAML, SCIM and RBAC down to the line.

IP & recipe protection

Chemistry, coat-weight and formation recipes stay in your tenant. Optional fully on-prem deployment with no egress.

Assurance-grade audit trail

Every perception, proposal, approval and executed setpoint change is immutably logged for IATF 16949 and IEC 62660 evidence.

Data residency

EU, US, Korea, Japan and China-domestic regions, or air-gapped factory edge for sovereign programs.

Developer questions

Yes — a simulated line seeded with realistic coating, weld and formation defects so you can build and test without touching production.

Yes. The edge runtime exposes the same API locally, so your integrations keep working with no cloud connectivity.

By envelope. A proposal that matches an armed, twin-validated envelope may execute; anything else requires a named approver and is recorded as such.

Build on the line.
